I have been photographing and filming fireworks shows around the globe since 2008. The joy of fireworks and the challenge of taking near-perfect fireworks photos are at the forefront of my mind every time.
Over the years, I have developed a sense of when is the perfect time to stop exposure so that the fireworks photos reflect the artist’s vision.
Know-how in photo and video
For the special look of my fireworks photos, I have developed a program (script) that I can run directly in Adobe Photoshop. This tool analyzes each photo in an elaborate process and takes into account certain factors that are important for an optimal fireworks photo. The result is fireworks images whose effects are detailed to the tips.
Video and sound must form a symbiosis. A crystal clear sound, a wide atmosphere, combined with a colorful and highly dynamic fireworks video.

Photo editing of the fireworks photos
The post-processing of the fireworks photos is essential. Only in the RAW development the magic begins and the fireworks photo gets the bright colors, the incredible depth effect and my own look.
After the RAW development, a special tool developed by me ensures that even the darkest sparks are photographed to the tip on the fireworks photo.
Fireworks video editing
Direct from the camera, fireworks videos usually look a bit dull and the colors don't have the vibrancy they should. Green and blue are often the problem colors in fireworks videos.
My job is to correct each main color, give the color the right luminosity, adjust the white balance and add some dynamics to the fireworks video.

Showing and sharing your fireworks photos and fireworks videos on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube is essential and standard for fireworks enthusiasts.
